Review: Enjoyed all stories EXCEPT Jenna Bennett's "Contingent on Approval". This was not a mystery except for how this story was included in the Happy Homicides mysteries. To me, it was trashy. Read more
Review: This is the most fun of had reading a book in a long time! Know what else? It actually kept me entertained and engaged through the whole thing. GASP! This just hasn't happened with my reading lately. Books kept losing my attention so I'm thrilled that I finally found one that kept me interested. This was side-splittingly funny and surprisingly sweet. I think if anyone was slightly disappointed with the serious turn that Twisted took, they'd be much happier with this book.

The heat in this story is intense, the story fast paced and the action prevalent. Which is what you find in every book in this series but it doesn’t feel like a retread and I love that.

I purchased the book on a Thursday and finished reading it the following Sunday. This book was extremely enjoyable to start in a summer book reading club. Of the five "Suscias" I saw myself in two of the finely developed characters.
I highly recommend this novel to many aficionado's book collection. Not only will it appea... Read more
Review: Ok, so it's not like her first book, "The Red Tent" ~~ but I didn't care as Diamant writes with her usual care and precision in telling a story. And I really enjoyed this book. I am not middle-aged yet, but I have always enjoyed reading a book that talks about friendship between two women. Having good friends of my own ~~ I really enjoy reading the friendship between Joyce and Kathleen. Joyce struggles with a marriage that seems to be heading for the rocks, a troubled relationship with her daugh... Read more
