Well, I certainly didn't hate this book, but this isn't a story I would rave about. Dylan has to take care of his two-year-old daughter, whom I found to be really cute and scenes with her were funny. I still don't even understand why Kristy and Dylan broke up when they were kids. Kristy was a bit of a drama queen. Dylan was certainly not what I thought he would be. In Logan's story, he seemed to be this really kind and resourceful person. In this story, he was rather cold.

As someone said before, there was just too much going on in this book. And not enough explanation. I struggled with the romance because it was in places that were so random. One minute the two aren't talking, the next minute they're having sex like animals. That's the other thing that bothered me. It was just sex. It was never making love, except for that one time.

Now, I know this story is not a historical novel, it's in recent setting, so I understand the attitude toward sexual relations. But it still wasn't......romantic. It was a decent book, which is not what I expect from Linda Lael Miller.

I actually bought this book first (loved the cover) and literally couldn't put it down. At first you believe that Dylan is this bad boy bull rider but when his baby girl is literally left alone in his truck, he immediately takes the best care of her so you see a whole different side to him. Kristy was so easy to relate to. It was easy to feel her emotions and believe me she went through ALOT in this story. I have to say this book is my favorite out of the three. I did go out and buy Montana Creeds Logan and Tyler just to be able to see how it all started and ended. I read them so fast that I'm a little sad their story is over.

Dylan the bull fighter's life has a sudden turn around when his wife leaves their two-year old in his truck and skips town. Now he is faced with raising his daughter. He returns to the family place to have his brother Logan, a lawyer, to gain full custody for him. Bonnie becomes friends with the local librarian who is an old girl friend of Dylan's. Kristy has the past to wrestle with and there are many issues to solve. This is a fast moving story that has several sub plots that sometimes get in the way. It is a good quick read. Linda Lael Miller has once again crafted a beautifully written story, with outstanding chracters and plots.

Dylan is a firebrand. I love him. I loved Logan too. But Dylan is just...wow. He steps up to the plate, takes responsibility for his daughter and comes back home to Kristy.

I loved the tension between Logan and Dylan, the sub-plot involving Frieda, the Sheriff, Mike...and of course, the resolution was just pure LLM. The sex scenes are pretty hot, the whole book is beautifully written and I couldn't wait to read Tyler once I'd finished this book.

Definitely a series you'd want to get your hands on - well worth the money!

Maybe I just had way too high expectations for this book, but I found that however sweet Dylan & Kristy were, and little Bonnie, I lost sight of them several times with all of the subplots going on. I love a book with little kids, rescued pets, and a happy ending (all key ingredients in most LLM novels). But I started to get confused with all the stuff going on in Kristy's life, the side story with the movie star, Frieda. I still found it entertaining, but it's not her best.

Excellent romance about coming to terms with what you want and wish to be. Unanswered questions including the Internet stalker dropped my review by one one star.
Believable characters, dialogue and story line.

I will re-read this book and always look forward to other works by this author.

I love reading the works of Linda Lael Miller..I especially enjoy reading books of the western romances that she writes. I am thoroughly enjoying the Montana Creeds series. I have read both Dylan and Logan and am about to read Tyler. They are really good reads. Linda Lael Miller is one of my favorite authors and I have enjoyed reading many of her books.. I especially enjoy the ones that are in a series.

How hard can it be to write a romance novel? They're not great works of literature so I always think it would be rather easy to pen one. Then I start reading and realize -- well I guess it's harder than I thought!

Linda Lael Miller's books prove that she knows how to write -- these books have well-drawn characters and good plot lines. A good read with engaging characters.

Another great book by Linda miller full of simple love and romance and it was nice to read a little bit of a thriller at the same time.

While I gave the first in this series, Logan, three stars, Dylan absolutely gets 5 stars. I loved the relationship between Kristy and Dylan of course, but I also enjoyed reading as Dylan learned what it meant to live with a two year old. The scenes with the two brothers were great as well, and make me really look forward to the next book, about Tyler.

Dylan is a good read because it deals with responsiblity and care for someone other than oneself. He is smart enough to know that he needs help. So,homebound is where he is heads. That, when the adventure begins and Dylan's daughter forces Dylan to face up to his past and grow up. He make amends to the people that means the most to him. He make his peace with the past and his future too. It is fun to read how he does it and how he come to realize it.

I liked this story even though there was a lot of plot lines going on and I believe that will be most people's complaint that the book does have a lot of things going on that don't seem relevant, but overall the characters were decent. The ending was rushed, but I can't wait for the next one.

I had just finished reading Montana Creed's Logan and knew that Dylan would be out in March. To my surprise I received an offer from the store in February to purchase the book. Within just a few days the book was delivered and I couldn't wait to read it. Once I started reading I could not put the book down and finished it in one weekend. Linda Leal Miller is a phenominal author, she transports you to the scene and time of the book, it is as if you are there. She always has some suspense, some romance and a happy ending. Her books are easy reads and I love the family saga stories. You feel as if you are part of the story, part of the family. I can't wait for Tyler to come out.

Praise, praise for Linda Lael Miller. The three Creed brothers got me hooked on reading Linda Lael Miller. Miller gives readers senses of community, cowboys, family ties, and very hot attractions that tend to work out in the long haul. What's not to love? I grew into the McKettricks books after reading about Dylan and his Creed brothers about ten times over. Miller's character relations are the only ones I believe that are worth pursuing. Good to have a good book to read while waiting for that type of relationship to come along.

I enjoyed this book so much. As always Linda Lael Miller doesn't disapoint! Dylan's tenderness with his daughter and how he does everything to make sure he's doing everything right in taking care of her makes for an enjoyable read. Looking forward to Tyler's story

I liked this book, infact the series for the Montana Creeds. The story flowed well and there were variations in the story enough to hold my attention. I have read several books by this writer and have enjoyed them. This is story that gets you into a small town America, and keeps you there. You wish you could live there.

This book was a bit hard to read. It seemed to drag on and at one point I didn't know if it was going to connect all the events. But it did, and it ended well.

Did not like it. It seemed similar to Logan which I liked better.I found it wordy, slow. It seemed that I was privy to every second of their supposedly exciting life, which I found to be a plod toward yet another predictable event. I do like this author but...not this one.

Can't wait to read this, but it's not available on Kindle. Guess next time I hit Walmart I'll buy it. I've contacted the author about having it on Kindle, but no reply
Can't believe it! Every time I break down and buy the DTB the next day it's available on Kindle. So far the book is pretty good.
