It wasn't quite what I was expecting. Pros: I learned about some people I had never heard of and were interesting. The author was respectful of her subjects. Cons - the dead hollywood chapter. just not my cup of tea-

Fancy does a great job telling the stories of Hollywood stars life and death. One can tell she digs deep..

If you love old Hollywood and scandal, you'll love this book. I would have preferred to buy the kindle edition but I didn't want to wait. Besides I got Ms. Jackie to autograph it, something you can't do with Kindle. Its amazing the love and research that went into Tragic Hollywood. Buy it, you'll love it..a guilty pleasure

The kindle version is awful. Terrible formatting. Images are impossible to see.

This book is full of facts which I found tremendously interesting and gave much information which was new to me. The author writes with a dry humor which I find very appealing. Full of sad details, but provides a background most of us were not aware of - until now. A great book to add to the library of any Hollywood enthusiast. Purchase this book and be prepared for a very interesting read! The perfect book for the upcoming summer reading list!

There is so much to like here and if you're a Hollywood buff lots to interest you. The flow needs work and there are many typos, mistakes and formatting issues but still very enjoyable.

If you get a chance read this book. Each story goes in to great detail about how the stars lived and how they died. I'll definitely be recommending this book to my friends and family!!

I LOVE your book! And for many reasons. You combine several of my interests together! Tragic Hollywood? Oh yes! Beautiful? Love it! Glamorous and Dead? Happy sigh! But all of them together? Heaven! But it's more than that. It's also your writing style that makes it come alive! You don't just state dry facts, you do give facts, but you also delve into the humanness of the people you write about and even inject bits of humor. I love that! I'm going to enjoy this book over and over for years to come! I'm looking forward to your next book!

Nothing new from the author that hasn't been presented before. Not a great rehash. The biographies jump around too much in different timelines. You have been warned.

Errors as in sentences and words were missing. I'm hoping it's because it's an e-book and that just how it goes with downloads from time to time. But if it's the fault of the author get a better proof reader to search out these errors. The errors not withstanding this book was really enjoyable. I love reading about old Hollywood and these kinds of books keeps the past alive

A really easy read and just a fun fact filled book. If you like the death stories. Not gruesome. Ok some misspellings but nothing distracting.

Good, reads like a blog, as it basically was written as one. A few things left out, but then I know my stuff. Still, good all around!

Really needs some editing...most of the stories in this book I have read before. Nothing really new...but the book was readable....

This is not a well written book. I wasn't impressed by it at all, but it's readable so I did finish reading it.

Includes some lesser known stars and their stories. She also debunks some of Kenneth Alger's stories in Hollywood Babylon. Most of these stories were old ones but there was some new stuff.

Just returned from vacation and finally had time to read this book. It was absolutely fascinating, and impossible to put down. I love anything to do with Hollywood, and this was one of the better books I have read on the subject. Author is knowledgable and quite witty. A super fun read.

I first became interested in the "Hollywood Death Scene" when I found the website Findadeath. Through Scott's Facebook Page, I found Jackie Ganiy's page and just couldn't get enough; when I found out she was writing a book, I knew I just HAD to have it. I finally ordered it and my only complaint is that I CAN'T PUT IT DOWN!!! It's wonderfully written, like a friend telling you stories. Chock full of scandals, secrets, rumors and brutal honesty, this book is an absolute MUST READ for ANYONE that is interested in the darker side of old and new Hollywood must read this book!!!

Very interesting! Did not realize the drugs, drink and partying were so prevalent in the early years of Hollywood. I had to read every page. Tragic, but had to read it.

This book is a waste of good paper, better use would be for toilet paper.
It's full of lies and is a waste of time...avoid this at all costs!

A very informative book. It gives you a clear prospective on what happened to a broad spectrum of stars. Many that have had a lot of untruths written about them.
